Orgo 101

Substitution and Elimination Reactions

Predict the Reaction and Products

Use the taught SN1, SN2, E1 and E2 pathways. Draw organic products only. Under neutral solvolysis conditions, SN1 and E1 can compete; select the expected dominant pathway for the temperature shown.

Draw the Product/s

Identify the reaction type correctly to unlock drawing.
Select a bond tool and click two points or drag to begin.

Use single or double bonds for the skeleton. Use wedge/dashed bonds for stereocentres and position alkene substituents to show E/Z. Draw separate products as separate structures.
